This page has been designed to make it easier for you to develop characters and/or heroes for Western Glashia pages and PBeM games. Please refer to your AD&D Players Handbooktm (1st or 2nd Edition) for more information regarding character and class minimum and maximum ability scores, as well as details regarding the different character class types. If you should have any questions, please E-mail me by putting "Question - Character" as the subject of your E-mail.

Player Name

Please provide me with a first name at least so that, when I create a Heroes page for your character, I can indicate who developed him/her. Your name will also appear in the Credits Page.

E-mail Address

DO NOT forget to give me this!

Character Name

There is a particular style of name development for certain races. Please review your character's designated Race Page for more information on this.

Alignment

* Some Game Masters prefer to stay away from evil characters. If your character development is for a PBeM game, you may want to check with your Game Master or choose another alignment.

Race
Other
* Some Game Masters may regulate against having humanoid characters. Please check with the Game Master before completing this record sheet.

Class
Other
***Multi-class
Other
* The Axemaster is a class found within the pages of Western Glashia. You may link to it here or through the Dervatear Race Page. Axemasters may only be of the Dervatear race.
** Some Game Masters don't allow evil characters in their PBeM games. Thus, assassins would not be allowed. If, however, you are developing a character for the Heroes Page, you may use the assassin class and/or multi-class.
*** Please refer to the Player's Handbooktm regarding multi-class restrictions, including race and ability scores.

Level

If you have selected a multi-class character, please indicate both levels.

Ability Scores
The six ability scores for Strength, Intelligence, Wisdom, Dexterity, Constitution, and Charisma must not total more than 84 points. As an example, a character could have the following ability scores: 16, 13, 16, 11, 17, and 11, which equals 84. An exception to this rule is if the character has an ability score of 18. If this happens, you must subtract 2 points from the maximum 84 possible ability points, leaving 82 possible ability points. If the character has two ability scores that are 18, you must drop 4 point, leaving a total of 80 possible ability points. Again, if you have any questions regarding this, please E-mail me with your question.

Arms & Equipment
When it comes to enchanted armor and weapons, some players go crazy! Please, don't be one of these players. Take a look at your character's level. If he/she is a low-level character, chances are that he/she hasn't come across a long sword +3, a medium shield +2, and a pair of gauntlets +6. Then again, if you're developing a 6th level fighter, there is a good chance that he/she has discovered a bastard sword +2 or a buckler shield +1 somewhere along his/her travels. The same applies for magic items.

List your character's weapons, stardard equpiment, and magical items below. If you have any questions regarding this, please refer to your Player's Handbook tm for more information.

Spells
Refer to your Player's Handbooktm for a listing of spells for the magic-user, cleric, druid, and illusionist classes, as well as those classes that have limited access to spells. If you are not sure as to which spells your character should know, please indicate it in the text box below and I will offer some suggestions.

Character's Background
This is where you get to let your imagination and creativity go wild! But keep in mind that some of the best background stories are those that are simple. Sure, we all want our characters to be the offspring of the King and Queen of Langington, but sometimes it's better if he/she is just a simple miller, looking for bit of adventure after his/her village was sacked by a band of orcs.

Please check over your data before submitting it to me. Keep in mind that such things as sub-ability scores, treasure, thieving skills, undead turning scores, and movement rates will be added to your character on my end. Don't worry yourself about them. I will put them on the Heroes Page or PBeM Character Page created specifically for your character and notify you when it is up.

If everything looks good, hit the button below.
